MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Family members of a 68-year-old man killed in a hit-and-run on Friday night are still looking for answers as to what happened.

They're asking the driver and anyone who saw what happened to come forward.

"There's a big void in our life right now. You live day by day since the accident waiting for a phone call, when will the phone call come?"

For several days now, Harvey Robbins and his wife have been waiting for a phone call telling them that the driver who fatally struck Robert Moutry has come forward.

Robbins says Moutry, his father-in-law, was old school, loved telling stories about his childhood and listening to the Temptations...and stayed with them often as they worked to keep him on the path toward recovery as he battled alcoholism.

Moutry had been living near 24th and Fond Du Lac when his family says he was killed there in a hit-and-run Friday night.

So far, no one has been arrested.

"It's heavy on our hearts right now to end the year like this and what can you say? It's something no one trains for or no ones prepared for it's just you deal with it day by day."

Anyone with information about what happened is asked to contact Milwaukee Police.
