Family of woman rescued after going missing thanks law enforcement, community

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The family of a woman who was found after going missing in the aftermath of a crash is speaking out. 

The woman's daughter says her mother is still in the hospital recovering, and released this statement:

"Our family would like to express our extreme gratitude to the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, surrounding law enforcement agencies, Flight for Life and Wisconsin K9 SOS for their efforts in finding Kathy and bring her safely back to us.
We would also like to thank the individual who called 911 and the neighbors who assisted law enforcement's efforts throughout the day.
We want to thank our amazing community for your out pouring of love and support. Your kindness and prayers have been felt in abundance!
Kathy is in the hospital healing from her injuries surrounded by family and friends. We respectfully ask that we be allowed to focus on our loved one."
