MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The family of an 18-year-old killed in Washington Park in Milwaukee is continuing to look for answers.
A memorial was held at that very park Wednesday, March 17, for Winfred Jackson Jr.
The family released 18 red balloons during the memorial, to represent Winfred's 18 years of life.
Milwaukee police found Jackson shot to death in the park's lagoon in March of last year.
"I think about this every day," said Tracy Martin, Winfred's mother. "It's horrible for a parent to have to bury their child. And I know somebody knows something -- a mother, a friend, somebody -- about this person who killed my son."
Police have not yet named any suspects in Jackson's death.
There's a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
If you have any information on this shooting, call Milwaukee Crime Stoppers at 414-224-TIPS. Your call can be anonymous.
