Family of Dontre Hamilton plans to sue City of Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- Attorneys representing the family of Dontre Hamilton have filed paperwork notifying the City of Milwaukee they may file a lawsuit. Hamilton is the Milwaukee man that was shot and killed by a Milwaukee police officer at Red Arrow Park.

Dontre's brother says Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn sympathized with the family, but they still need answers. It's been almost four months since a Milwaukee police officer shot and killed Hamilton at Red Arrow Park during a scuffle. 

The name of the officer involved in this incident has yet to be officially released, and the district attorney's office has not made a decision if any charges will be filed against the officer.
