Family displaced by early morning fire

The cause of an early morning fire in Milwaukee is being investigated by the Milwaukee Fire and Police Department.  The fire in a home at N 4th and Locust Streets was reported around 2 AM Friday.  According to fire officials, the fire was concentrated in the attic of the home.  Firefighters had the blaze under control within 25 minutes.  There is no estimate of the amount of damage to the home, however, a news release form the Red Cross says the home is unlivable.   The Red Cross is assisting the family that lived in the home with emergency housing, and financial support for food and clothing.
