MUSKEGO, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 39-year-old woman died Saturday, Nov. 15 after a falling tree struck her while she was riding as a passenger on a motorcycle in Muskego, according to police.

The Muskego Police Department and Tess Corners Fire Department responded to the single-vehicle crash at around 3:15 p.m. on Tans Drive near High Bluff Drive. The motorcycle was riding westbound on Tans when the tree hit the passenger.

The 51-year-old motorcycle driver contacted emergency services immediately after the incident and stayed at the scene, according to police. The woman died at the scene.

The Wisconsin State Patrol was contacted to complete a crash reconstruction, police said. The investigation remains active.
