Eyes on The Skies for Wednesday Storms

There's still a lot of forecasting between now and Wednesday, but the risk exists for strong to severe weather, especially late in the day Wednesday into the early evening hours.

In fact the Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma has much of the area in an "enhanced" opportunity for volatile weather, including large hail and damaging wind, and even possible isolated tornadoes.

A cold front will move through during the peak heating of the day and bump into some warm, humid air.  Keep in mind though this will be following a round of showers and thunder in the early morning.  If we get enough sun during the day along with added upper energy in the atmosphere, we could be in store for a rough go of it, especially as you're heading home from work.

You know the entire CBS58 weather team will get your ready for what could be coming on Wednesday.  Also make sure to download the free CBS58 weather app before the storms arrive.
