MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Ex Fabula, a Milwaukee storytelling organization, has announced its winter lineup of StorySlam events as part of its 17th season.

The first event Friday, Dec. 5 features the theme "Date Night" with true, personal stories of romantic adventures and mishaps. On Jan. 6, the theme will be "Brave," focusing on heroic acts and risk-taking. The Feb. 12 event, "For the Culture," will celebrate Black and Brown voices.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and storytelling begins at 7 p.m. for all events.
