MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Eric Clapton will be making a Milwaukee stop during his upcoming tour on Sunday, Sept. 13, according to a Monday, March 2 press release.

Special guest Jimmie Vaughan will join the tour.

Clapton has won 18 Grammy Awards and received the Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music. He was awarded a CBE in 2004 for services to music and has earned four Ivor Novello Awards, including a lifetime achievement honor.

He is the only three-time inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, recognized as a solo artist and as a member of The Yardbirds and Cream.
