WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Waukesha Janboree kicked off its final weekend of fun on Friday, Jan. 22.
This weekend's activities include the Frosty 5K Run at 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23. Other events to look forward to: ice sculpting and a snowman building contest.
There is also a hike and beer garden.
Organizers say it's a good opportunity for people to have fun while being safe during the pandemic.
“People just need something to do. It’s Wisconsin. It’s winter and might as well get out and enjoy what we have to offer so especially this year with following up on the pandemic people are interested in getting out and doing things and we have a lot of socially distant and self-directed things people can do," said Joanna Adamicki, special events coordinator.
Organizers say most of the activities are free this weekend. For more information, CLICK HERE.
