MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Our current stretch of quiet, cool weather will go right into the start of September. Both Labor Day and the beginning of meteorological fall occur on Monday as well. This dry stretch is a nice change from all the unprecedented flooding rains of three weeks ago. In fact, we end the month with more than a five-inch surplus of rainfall. However, I do see a few chances of precipitation this week, especially on Wednesday and Friday. We have two different cold fronts moving through, helping to reinforce chillier air coming our way. Look for highs in the 60s by the end of the week. Some of us might even stay in the 50s during the day. An average high this time of year is in the upper 70s. Lows at night this week will be in the 40s and 50s.
Humidity? No problem...
Crazy rainfall surplus for the month...
