Elm Grove police urging residents to use common sense, caution near railroad tracks after close calls

ELM GROVE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Elm Grove Police Department is asking people to use common sense and caution when crossing railroad tracks.

The department posted two videos on its Facebook page showing how close adults and children were to being hit by a train on Tuesday, September 1.

Authorities urge people to never cross tracks until the arms are up, lights are off and the bells are no longer ringing.
