MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Alison Cefalu and Virginia Debbink from Echelon Milwaukee joined us on Thursday, Aug. 24 to discuss "Dinner in the Alley," which takes place on Saturday, Aug. 26.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Echelon Milwaukee, the Salvation Army of Milwaukee County's young professional group, is preparing to host its seventh annual "Dinner in the Alley" event to bring awareness and support to the city's unhoused population.
The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26 along the Milwaukee River outside the Marcus Performing Arts Center.
Through communal tables and a family-style dinner, guests will be encouraged to engage in discussions on combating the issue, according to a press release announcing the event.
