East Troy man seriously injured after jumping off cliff

A 20-year-old East Troy man was seriously injured on Sunday when he attempted to jump into the water from a cliff.
According to the Dane County Sheriff's Office, he struck his head on a rock as he entered the water.
The accident happened at Stewart County Park in the town of Blue Mounds just after 7 p.m.
The man's friends and other witnesses searched underwater and brought him to the surface.
He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
