East Locust Street to close for nine days due to building construction on Oakland Avenue

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works is notifying the public that East Locust Street will be closed from Cramer Street to Oakland Avenue starting Thursday, January 3 until January 12.
The street will be closed to facilitate construction at a property located at 2900 North Oakland Avenue.
Anyone driving this stretch of road is asked to slow down and leave more time for their commute.
