MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 25-year-old is dead after having been shot near the intersection of 84th and Fairmount, according to Milwaukee police.

The shooting happened early Wednesday, July 23, at around 1:37 a.m.

Police said the victim sustained a fatal gunshot wound. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation.
