CBS 58 JEFFERSON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An investigation is underway after a driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Lake Mills Tuesday, June 3.
It happened around 8:11 a.m. on I-94 westbound at State Highway 89, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation,
The DOT says a preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle was traveling westbound when the driver left the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating.
