Draft Day Takes Place at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School

A high school in Milwaukee is giving its students an awesome opportunity for real-world experience.

Cristo Rey Jesuit High School has teamed up with 51 local companies for a work-study program.

Today is Draft Day, the day the students meet their corporate sponsors.

The teams will be paired up for the upcoming school year.

The students will actually work at the companies to help pay for their education.

It's a chance to develop practical professional skills.

They will be doing all sorts of work. They will be working in HR, Marketing, they will be working in legal. They'll be working in all sorts of different departments.

Some of the companies involved include the Milwaukee Bucks, Marquette, and Northwestern Mutual.
