DPW issues tips for getting to July 3 fireworks

Department of Public Works issued transportation tips for getting to the July 3 fireworks at the Lakefront. 
There will be 13 electronic signs that indicate parking structure locations and available parking spaces per structure.
The O’Donnell Park garage will have parking for $20 on July 3, and on the grass off Lagoon Road for $20.

Summerfest attendees will be parking at Veterans Park. 
Bublr bikes will be available. 
Three downtown trolleys will operate on a downtown loop on July 3 with extended hours, 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. $1 per trip. Due to the expected traffic congestion, the trolley will not stop at the Milwaukee Art Museum or Discovery World. Go to for route information.
