MILWAUKEE, (CBS 58) -- As tensions remain high in the middle east, dozens of people came out to Red Arrow Park in Milwaukee on Sun. Jun. 15 to protest Israel's ongoing attacks on Iran.
The protestors also called for an end to the war in Gaza which has been ongoing since Oct. 7th of 2023.
The 'Hands of Iran' Protest was organized by the Milwaukee anti-war committee.
They say they're standing in solidarity with Iran as they have with Palestine.
"The US along with Israel are ramping up their aggression in that region after what seem to be failed negotiations and we don't want American in another war," said Megan Thomson, member of the Milwaukee Anti-War Committee.
