MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A doughnut tasting event drew more than 1,000 people in Milwaukee on Sunday but now the organizer is responding to criticism.
After the event at the Radisson Hotel in Milwaukee, many people took to social media saying they weren’t happy that some vendors ran out of doughnuts.
The organizer, Yussef Morales, says the last 100 people who came were refunded. Overall, he believes the event was a success and says he learned a lot from Sunday.
Some vendors ran out of doughnuts but Morales says that is partly because people were taking handfuls instead of sampling.
Morales plans to hold next year’s tasting at a bigger venue.
