MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- According to Milwaukee police two people were shot at around 2:48 a.m. on Sunday, January 1, 2023 near 5th and Bruce Streets.
The first victim, a 27-year-old Milwaukee female sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The second victim, a 26-year-old Milwaukee male sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound and was also transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Milwaukee police say that the circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation and they continue to seek an unknown suspect.
