'Don't try this:' Wisconsin State Patrol stops driver with snowmobile strapped to roof

POLK COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A driver was pulled over in Polk County, Wisconsin for driving with a snowmobile strapped to the top of their sedan. 

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says the driver was pulled over by the Wisconsin State Patrol on Highway 63 Sunday, Nov. 1. 

A photo shows a Toyota Corolla with a snowmobile tied down perpendicular to the roof. 

The WisDOT advised: "DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME" in their post. If you're transporting equipment, the DOT says it should be safely hauled secured on a trailer or in a truck.
