MILWAUKEE -- It's a 24-hour event offering an opportunity sure to give you more bang for your buck.

Today is Match Day--an event organized by the Greater Milwaukee Foundation that raises awareness and support for several food and shelter agencies in Southeastern Wisconsin.

Each monetary donation made online or by phone to the Hunger Task Force of Milwaukee will be proportionally matched by the Greater Milwaukee Foundation's Basic Needs Fund, from a pool of $750,000.

There are a few ways to donate, now through midnight--online at matchdaymke.org or by calling the phone bank at (414) 939-MEAL.

Donors are also welcome to visit the Hunger Task Force in-person at 201 S. Hawley Court.

Familiar faces from CBS 58 will be at the Hunger Task Force of Milwaukee all day to help raise awareness for Match Day Mke 2014.
