MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- This Saturday, Former NFL player and Milwaukee-area restaurant owner, Don Davey, will embark on the race of his life, spanning more than 3,000 from Oceanside, California to Annapolis Maryland.
Davey is part of an eight-person "Race Across America" team raising money for the "One Mike Leadership Project"
They'll make 22 stops during the race to bring awareness to the more than 22 veterans and active duty service members who take their own lives each day on average in the U.S.
Before he laces us those running shoes, Davey joins us this morning to tell us a little more about this important race.
