'Doggy Day' to take place in Milwaukee's Deer District in April 2022 đŸ¶

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Start planning a dog's day out! Central Bark Downtown and Winston's Wishes announced Doggy Day will take place in the Deer District on Saturday, April 9, 2022.

Sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Doggy Day will benefit Winston’s Wishes and their mission to help local pups in need. Winston’s Wishes is an all-volunteer ran, non-profit organization that focuses on supporting dogs who may not do well in the shelter environment, senior pups or dogs who may need a little extra care.

“After adopting our pup, Winston, we knew we needed to do something to help other homeless dogs in Wisconsin. We launched Winston’s Wishes and have since helped very special, local animals through rescue, education and advocacy,” said Jake Schneider, Founder and President of Winston’s Wishes. “With your support, our mission and organization can continue to grow so we can help our local dogs in need for many years to come.”

Doggy Day will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the event will include local vendors, food and beverages, live entertainment, prizes and activities for all furry friends to enjoy.

Doggy Day will be free and open to the public and their well-socialized, leashed dogs.
