The Westin Milwaukee rolled out the red carpet for a new breed of guests.
A volunteer family from the Wisconsin Humane Society and their dog were the first to take part in the hotel's new dog-friendly amenities and programs.
The new hotel says this is just in keeping with the overall service of health and wellness when people and all their family members come to visit.
"We have a heavenly bed for our bipeds for all our human friends," explained GM Jeff Hess. "So, why not have a similar experience for our pets?"
Amenities include a heavenly bed, a dog bowl, and water bowl, as well as a "Wag Westin map" which tells guests about the closest and most convenient places to enjoy the city with their pets.
