Dog rescued from puppy mill goes missing in Elm Grove; efforts to find her underway

ELM GROVE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A dog rescued from a puppy mill is missing in Elm Grove.

Gracie is a golden retriever who is approximately 2 years old. She was saved from a puppy mill down south, and brought up to Wisconsin for a better life.

On Sunday, Dec. 1, she slipped out of her leash when her foster parents took her outside near North and Lilly in Elm Grove. They followed Gracie toward Elm Grove Park but lost sight of her. She's been missing ever since.

Facebook posts indicate Gracie was spotted in Underwood Creek Parkway and Bishops Woods. She has a microchip.

If anyone sees Gracie, you're asked not to approach or chase her as it will scare her and cause her to run. Contact 414-517-7725 if you happen to find Gracie.
