Dodge County Sheriff's Office seeks person of interest in homicide

DODGE COUNTY -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is investigating the homicide of 43-year-old Michael Soeller. Soeller was found dead inside his Fox Lake apartment on August 24 around 12:00 p.m.

The sheriff's office says Soeller's landlord found him dead inside his apartment. The landlord says he had not seen Soeller for several days.

The Dodge County Medical Examiner's Office says Soeller's death is a homicide. An autopsy found Soeller died from loss of blood caused injuries inflicted by his murderer.

Investigators have a person of interest they are seeking. This person is believed to be one of the last people to see Soeller alive. The sheriff's office released a picture taken from surveillance video at a Walmart store. They also released a sketch of the person of interest created using descriptions offered by one neighbor.
