Dodge County Sheriff's Office investigating suspicious vehicle, may be tied to burglary scheme

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Dodge County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a report of a suspicious vehicle.

According to the Sheriff's Office, several citizens have reported that a brown/tan van or suburban type vehicle has been driving around and stopping at residences. When the vehicle stops, the horn is honked.

This has been reported in the rural areas outside of Juneau and Beaver Dam.

The Sheriff's Office says it's possible this is being done because the vehicle is casing properties to see if anyone is home prior to a burglary attempt. 

Anyone with information or anyone who has seen this happen is asked to call the Sheriff's Office.
