DNR: In-person hunter safety classes to begin April 1

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) --- The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) announced all in-person hunter education classes, including archery education classes, will begin April 1.

Officials say safety protocols have been established to protect students, instructors, and communities when in-person instruction resumes. This will include social distancing, in-class limits, special room setups, and face coverings.

Instructors may begin to enroll traditional classes in GoWild on Monday, March 15.
