Deputies: Man Calls 911 to Report Stabbing with Knife in His Back

PALM COAST, Fla. (CBS NEWS)— Florida deputies say one of the victims in a double stabbing called 911 early Monday with a knife still lodged in his back, CBS affiliate WKMG reports.

The incident occurred in Palm Coast, Florida just after midnight on Monday. Deputies said the caller told them he had been drinking with another man, who was not identified, when he was stabbed.

When deputies arrived, they found the other man covered in blood and with a puncture wound to the middle of his throat and a cut to his hand, according to the report.

Deputies said the man was lying on the ground and said several times that he wanted to kill himself.

The men, both 18, were taken to a hospital for treatment. It’s not clear if either will be charged.
