Demolition begins on vacant Burger King near 106th and Greenfield

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- West Allis' city attorney tells us demolition on the vacant Burger King near 106th and Greenfield is finally underway.
The city attorney says they are not sure exactly when the demolition began.
It comes after the city won a long legal battle against the fast-food chain over the building.
That location has not been open for at least six years.
The city says it was becoming an eye sore with overgrown grass and electrical issues.
