MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's the Republicans' time in the spotlight, but once again, Democratic leaders are in Milwaukee Wednesday.
They're meeting daily to respond to the Republican National Committee's political agenda.
Wednesday's press conference included Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Texas Congresswoman Veronica Escobar.
The focus was on what they call JD Vance's anti-abortion rhetoric.
Democrats say Mr. Trump's VP pick would work to ban abortion nationwide.
"JD Vance is anti-choice politician whose views on reproductive freedom and women's rights would take us back decades. He supports a nationwide ban on abortion and criticizes exceptions for rape, incest survivors, saying two wrongs don't make a right," said Quentin Fulks, deputy campaign manager, Biden-Harris campaign.
The Democratic National Convention is next month in Chicago, kicking off Aug. 19.
