MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Excitement is still growing ahead of Game 4 of the NBA Finals in the Deer District as Bucks fans, and businesses, prepare for the game Wednesday night.

Workers at the Bucks Pro Shop said they're preparing for an exciting day Wednesday, and while there wasn't a 20,000 person crowd out there Tuesday, things were still busy, as businesses and fans geared up for Game 4.

"We came down because I've got my jersey, and we thought it was time that when my wife got something from the Pro Shop", said lifelong Bucks fan Peter Michaud.

He said he's been waiting for this moment since his childhood memories of the last time the Bucks won it all.

"I remember playing basketball in my driveway and then going in to watch the game," recalled Michaud.

Which is why he, and many others, were out Tuesday in the Deer District.

Business owners, like Uncle Buck's owner Michael Vitucci, said they're going to be all-hands on deck.

"I mean to think we're in a, in a spotlight nationally but it's actually globally, brings Milwaukee to the center of attention and what we are is a great city," said Vitucci.

He said he doubts rain or the possibility of severe weather will keep many people away.

"If it rains, we put the umbrellas up, no problem. We've had it before and it worked out great."

Over at Major Goolsby's, workers said they're installing new video walls for the historic night.

"'Seventy-one was the last championship, which was only six months before we opened as a restaurant [and] sports bar," said Major Goolsby's Manager Marty Petricca.

Michaud said he doubts rain will stop Bucks fans.

"People will still come down," said Michaud, "Things are kind of falling into place for, you know, a really successful run right now."

Vitucci said he's expecting crowds to be anywhere from 20 to 30% larger than they have been on previous game nights.
