Dangerous cold lasts through Wednesday; wind chill advisory in effect

A wind chill advisory is in effect for all of southeast Wisconsin until Wednesday at noon. During the next 48 hours wind chill values will stay well below-zero.

The coldest will be Tuesday morning and Wednesday morning when wind chills could be as cold as -25°.

With wind chills that cold, frostbite can set in in less than 15 minutes.

Although the wind chill advisory ends on Wednesday, the cold will last. Wind chills will go below-zero every day during the CBS 58 Ready Weather 10-day, even into 2018.
