Dane County Sheriff's Office investigating homicide of man

DANE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Dane County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a homicide in the town of Dane.
Sheriff’s deputies and EMS initially responded to a call at approximately 4:20 am for an unresponsive male. Life saving efforts were performed, but were unsuccessful, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing.
The Sheriff's Office says the suspect has ties to the victim and that the public is not in danger.
