MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Parfaits are a tasty dessert staple for summertime.
During the pandemic, individualized desserts are more popular to serve.
Angie Edge with Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin joined CBS 58 Wednesday, August 11, with how to serve the dessert in individualized portions.
And She shared two recipes a key lime pie parfait and a cookies and cream parfait.
KEY LIME PIE RECIPE:
1 container (8 ounces) Crave Brothers Farmstead Classics Mascarpone cheese
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup lime juice
1 1/2 teaspoons lime zest
1 drop green food color, optional
3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons butter, cubed and melted
Sweetened whipped cream
Lime wedges
COOKIES AND CREAM RECIPE:
1 container (8 ounces) Carr Valley Chocolate Cheese Spread
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (about 10 cookies)
3 cups sweetened whipped cream
