CEDARBURG, Wis. (CBS 58) -- In Cedarburg, the annual winter festival takes place Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 21 and 22 at The Shops of Cedar Creek Settlement in historic Cedarburg.
Sarah Enwald, executive director of Festivals of Cedarburg, and Jessica Knight, marketing manager, joined us Monday, Feb. 9 to chat about it.
Saturday features live music, bed races at 1:30 p.m. on Cedar Creek between Anvil Pub & Grille and Cream & Crepe Cafe, ice carvings in the courtyard and hot-spiced wine at Cedar Creek Winery.
Anvil Pub & Grille will host an outdoor snow bar and chili bar on its patio Saturday. The two restaurants will compete in a best soup competition Sunday afternoon.
Attendees can also find in-shop specials and sampling throughout the Cedarburg's boutiques. The event takes place in the restored 1864 woolen mill, and it is said to be both free and family friendly.
