"Dad, leave him alone. It's over with." Racine father charged with abuse after getting involved in fight

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Racine man is charged with physical abuse of a child and disorderly conduct after allegedly fighting with a 16-year-old that his son was having problems with.

It happened on October 20 near 16th and Holmes.

According to the complaint, the 16-year-old victim met with another teen where they engaged in a "mutually agreed upon physical altercation." After the fight, the two of them agreed to put everything behind him.

When the 16-year-old victim was walking home from a nearby market, the other teen's father approached him from behind and asked for a lighter. According to the criminal complaint, the man then slammed the victim to the ground and punched and kicked him in the upper body.

The man's son then allegedly intervened and said "Dad, leave him alone. It's over with."
