The cream puff is a staple at the State Fair. One at a time. But today is a different story for me. For a second year in a row, I devoured as many as I could in the time allowed. I got through at least two and a half of them, and there was plenty of evidence on my face to prove it! Compared to last year, I felt like I was definitely in the game.
Unfortunately, I didn't win. Molly Snyder from OnMilwaukee.com did. She gets bragging rights, a trophy, and plaque. I have a little pride and dignity knowing I made a good effort.
