Crash Victim's Family Speaks Out

54-year-old Edward Adams was killed in a car crash off of 53rd and Center Tuesday morning.

\"He was picking up something for his lunch and on his way to work when this happened,\" said Adams' little brother Vincent Adams.

Edward's car was t-boned by a 22-year-old trying to escape police after an armed robbery at a bank nearby.

\"The way that everything played out, it just seemed like something out of a movie,\" said Marcus.

Moments after Edward was hit a police officer who was following the suspect also gets hit. Surveillance video obtained by CBS 58 shows the officer running out of his car. The suspect tried to out run police, but was arrested in an apartment close by.

Marcus Adams, Edwards other little brother, said the family is leaning on each other during this tough time.

Edward leaves behind two children, four sisters, three brothers and his mother.

\"He was here, just talked to him, and now we are never going to see him again,\" said Marcus. Marcus said he will miss his brothers' laugh the most. He also tells CBS 58, his brother was always helping others.
