MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Love is in the air at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center.
A couple celebrated their wedding anniversary in the same hotel they were married in 75 years ago.
Chuck and Beverly even have the receipt from their wedding night. They arrived in a limo Wednesday for the first time, and were shocked to see everyone cheering them on for their special day.
"We're lucky we've lived this long and been together and you know, we...counting our blessings, I'll put it that way," said Beverly Franzke.
"Love gets you to the alter, but trust and respect gets you to the next 70," added Chuck Franzke.
The two married during WWII.
Chuck had to mail a ring to his parents so they could help him propose to Beverly on Christmas Eve.
