NOW: Cooler today with rain chances returning Thursday night
NEXT:

From 80s Tuesday afternoon to wind chills in the 30s this morning, it's been a temperature whiplash over the last 18 hours. A cooler air mass has moved in behind yesterday's pneumonia front, which will keep us much cooler today. Highs only reach the upper 50s near the lake today with low to mid 60s inland. Sunshine will be filtered by wildfire smoke again today with the wind staying off the lake.

A southerly wind returns Thursday which will boost temps into the 70s, but wind will turn onshore near the lake in the afternoon and cap warming there in the low 70s. We'll be dry throughout the day on Thursday, but scattered showers and isolated storms roll in Thursday night.

Most of the showers associated with this front will exit Friday morning.

Winds will turn to the NW on Friday and with lingering clouds we'll stay in the 60s, but temps start warming back up through the weekend.

Even warmer weather is on the horizon leading into Memorial Day weekend! The 8 to 14 day temperature outlook shows a good chance for above average temps. By then our average high will have warmed into the low 70s.
