Concert Master plays centuries old violin for first time in concert since it was stolen

 BROOKFIELD - A sell-out crowd greeted Concert Master Frank Almond Monday Night as he played the Stradivarius Violin for the first time since it was stolen in a street robbery two weeks ago. The suspects used a taser on Almond to steal the multi-million dollar violin. Almond suffered only minor injuries. Police were able to locate the suspects and recover the violin. Monday Night's concert was in the works for more than a year. Monday Night's program was actually designed to showcase the history of this very special violin made in 1715 that Almond plays. With the violin recovered, the program in it's original form went off without a hitch. Almond will rejoin The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra for concerts all weekend long. Saturday night's show will recognize the law enforcement that helped recover the violin.
