Complaint: West Bend woman murdered in front of toddler in Minnesota

WEST BEND, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A woman from West Bend is dead after what may have been a case of domestic violence in St. Paul, Minnesota.

According to a criminal complaint, police were called to a domestic disturbance last week at an apartment in Minnesota's capitol city. 

There they found the body of 21-year-old Abigail Simpson.

Her obituary says she was born in West Bend. 

According to the complaint, she had been badly beaten and a knife was found next to her body. 

A 2-year-old child was found at the scene. 

Twenty-three-year-old Terrion Sherman has been arrested and charged with second degree murder.
