Community raises $12K for Alex Hook through Piggly Wiggly donations

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Stinebrink's Piggly Wiggly in Kenosha shared on Facebook Friday that with donations from customers, they were able to raise $12,000 for Alex Hook.

Alex is continuing to recover after suffering a brain injury on a school playground last month from a piece of metal that shot out of a lawn mower.

Stinebrink's says all four of their stores in Lake Geneva, Delavan and two in Kenosha, contributed to the cause.
