MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Today is the World Day of Remembrance for Traffic Victims.
On Sunday, Nov. 19, people came together to remember and honor those who lost their lives due to reckless driving in Milwaukee.
Members of the community spent part of their afternoon at All Saints Catholic Church in Milwaukee, including Milwaukee's Mayor.
"It's through stories like the ones we heard today, family members, community members, who have been affected by reckless driving that we can encourage other folks in our community to slow down," said Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson.
At least 70 people have died in reckless driving crashes in Milwaukee so far this year.
