Comedian Dave Chappelle is coming to Summerfest on Sept. 11

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- Summerfest announced that award-winning comedian Dave Chappelle will be coming to Summerfest on Sept. 11 at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater.

Chappelle, also a screenwriter, television nd film producer, and actor, will be a headliner that Saturday. This will be the first time that Chappelle has performed at the festival.

Tickets go on sale Friday, June 11 at 12 p.m. on Summerfest's website and on Ticketmaster. Tickets include admission to Summerfest the day of the show. 

Cellphones, cameras and/or recording devices are not allowed inside the show. Upon arrival, all phones and smartwatches will be secured in  Yondr pouches that will be unlocked at the end of the show. Anyone caught with a cellphone in the venue will be immediately ejected.
