Cold weather affecting the way people shop

This cold snap so early in the season has everyone budled up and moving quickly.  For many, it isn't Christmas season until they have a tree.

The cold weather isn't keeping people from buying trees, but it is changing how much time they spend out picking one out..

\"The cold weather is keeping people in the house until the very last minute,\" said Dominic SanFelippo, owner of a Christmass tree lot in West Allis.

Snowy conditions just mean shorter trips.

\"When its cold, people don't shop around too long, they see something they like and they buy it,\" said SanFelippo.

He said it's too soon in the season to determine whether or not he'll sell all his trees.
